Liverpool Football Club AXA Training Facility – lighting

Our brief was to enhance each space, bringing it to life with light and stunning visual displays, all installed and fitted with total discretion in a strict Covid-19 secure environment.

We installed LED effect lighting around the AXA complex, giving it that extra vibrancy.

Examples include:

• First team changing room: LED strip lighting triggered by PIR sensors installed in the lockers, so when the player opens them, their kit is illuminated. LED lighting is also added to the football boots in the lockers, illuminating the players’ boots.

• First team & U23’s reception desk: LED halo effect added, giving a greater visual impact when entering the complex.

• First team managers & executive offices: LED lighting was integrated within the furniture, bookcases, shelves, and displays to provide halo effects and illuminate items on display.

The use of energy-efficient LED lighting in key areas around the facility visually enhances the spaces and provides an extra wow factor. The addition of PIR sensors is an additional energy-saving measure, enabling certain areas to be illuminated only when lighting is required.

Our work has been viewed by millions through LFC’s social media channels, and we are rightly proud that our team was involved in such a prestigious project – well, the red half is!
