Lead Time
3 weeks – brief to completion
Our brief was to provide a diverse range of digital signage & screens in and around the AXA facility including Video Walls, Monitors & bespoke Screens each required to fulfil a specified function. All installed and fitted with total discretion in a strict Covid-19 secure environment.
We installed over 120 commercial-grade screens, each performing a specific task, within & around Liverpool Football Clubs New AXA Training facility.
Each screen was handpicked and specific to its required duties, a number of screens were the Samsung 690 Series. The reason we opted for the Samsung 690 Series is there a commercial grade, versatile display with 4K UHD resolution including HDR10+ picture technology with a super fine bezel supplying a seamless design. Including many additional features including managing content utilising Samsung LYNK REACH 4.0 and the additional security benefit of Samsung LYNK DRM technology protecting content.
The 690 series also included the software supporting the existing content management system used by LFC without additional hardware and allowing the content management system & network to be managed in-house.
Examples include:
- Video walls: were installed within the main complex where we opted for LG’s LV Series given its super narrow bezel & built-in matrix. The main reception video wall comprises 9 x55″ LV series video wall monitors providing a total display of 364.2 x 204.9cm.
- Hospitality Display screens: were used widely throughout the facility in areas including the press conference room, offices and administration areas, medical suite and the gym.
- Bespoke & custom screens: were installed in the Altitude Room and the Hydrotherapy Suite, these were fabricated to resist several environmental factors from extreme temperatures, humidity & pressure of the Altitude room to the moist atmosphere & humidity within the hydrotherapy suite.
Our work has been viewed by millions through LFC’s social media channels, and we are rightly proud that our team was involved in such a prestigious project – well the red half are!
The PPL Group also worked on a project to install into the facility LCD lighting solutions – see case study.
