What we excel at

Live event management

We run projects in real-time, for example updating live scoreboards / leader boards at sporting events including Wimbledon, The Open & R&A Amateur Golf Events.

Trusted

Our team is trusted to look after event trophies. During R&A amateur golf tournaments and The Open, we ensure the trophy, such as the famous Claret Jug, is on display at functions, on the first tee and at the end of the tournament for the winning presentation.

Project management

We are tasked with running large-scale projects which are years in the planning and require months of onside build.

Ad-hoc services

We are on hand to support our clients, the nature of our event branding operation means that we are on site in the build-up to an event, during the event and post event, clients often ask us to manage projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Management services

  • We seamlessly handle the entire journey, starting from the initial concept, understanding the client’s requirements, and proficiently executing project management to ensure successful delivery.

  • We run the live scoring for the golf event, across a mix of digital and manual scoreboards and leaderboards, assisted by a volunteer workforce provided by the club/venue.

Volunteers are trained and equipped with tablets and radios, they input the scores onto the system, this information is double-checked by the PPL Golf Team and uploaded to the live electronic scoreboard and manual scoreboards updated every 30 minutes.

Given the nature of the event we work at, we regularly have to find operating solutions for issues such as low or no connectivity.

  • We are entrusted to look after the tournament trophy at R&A Amateur Golf tournament and The Open Championship, moving the trophy to and from the first tee, the display location and ensuring it is in position for the trophy ceremony at the end of the tournament.

  • We often managed ad-hoc activities for clients, the nature of our other activities mean we are onsite for the duration of events – build to take down.

An example of this is maintaining water fountains:  ensuring the water fountains around the course and player areas are full for the duration of a tournament.
