We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Brian Mason who died at the age of 72 on Friday 26th January 2024.
Brian Mason worked at PPL for over 20 years, he was a much loved and respected colleague, who worked at multiple amateur golf events and was a major part of our programme operation alongside his wife Colette at The Open Championship. Brian will be deeply missed by all his colleagues at PPL.
Andy Ward, MD at PPL expressed “I would like to pay tribute to Brian and his big contribution to PPL over the years and the great influence he had on so many people both at PPL and the wider golf community.”
Our thoughts and prayers are with Brian’s wife Colette, children Brian and Nicki, and much-loved grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
