England Cricket – Programmes

The PPL Group were appointed in 2019, by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to produce and sell the official programmes for the men’s and women’s international test matches, ODIs, T20s  and the T20 Vitality Blast Final.

Working closely with the ECB communications & branding teams, we create a visual style for the programme for each series that reflects the England Crickets’ core branding values, projecting the excitement of the occasion, the teams, and the sport of cricket.

The programme is illustrated with exciting action photography to enhance the readership and add impact to the features.  The features and editorial content are agreed upon in advance and leading cricket writers are contracted to write the features.

Our in-house sales team organise the sales operation, liaising with the ECB and cricket grounds stakeholders to ensure a smooth-running sales operation, sales booths are erected at each ground and branded with the match/series branding.

The programmes are made available to buy worldwide via our Online Store.

As the grounds are generally cashless, PDQs are used throughout.

Our printer partner is provided with a delivery schedule and asked to label each box by name and destination at each ground.   Programmes are delivered early morning of a match day and delivered to all retail, hospitality, and other locations.
