Programme Booths Refurbishment – Twickenham Stadium

To refurbish 22 Twickenham Stadiums programme booths and update the branding in line with the stadium’s current brand identity. PPL had previously manufactured the booths back in the mid-2000s. The booths had outlasted their original 10-year design by many years and were looking worn and damaged from being outside in all weathers.

The first job was to load 22 heavy metal booths onto a 40ft trailer and get them driven up to Liverpool, so they could be individually assessed for damage.

Each booth was initially sand blasted to remove the existing paint and inspected for signs of damage, which was then cut away and refurbished with new metal. Visible dents were banged out and other areas of damage such as hinges and handles were replaced with new components.

The booths were powder coated and re-branded to the RFU’s specifications and delivered back to Twickenham for the start of the 2021 Autumn Internationals.

The booths look great – like new! They’ve been repainted and look fantastic with the correct Twickenham Stadium branding. They’ve been well worth the investment.
